Out on the Rez

Since I don't have Suzanne Toting her Garmin this week, I had to use the car to estimate mileage at the Reservoir. I parked at the Boat Dock by Palisades and did my run/walk from there to Hwy. 471, which ends not far from the Fox Bay entrance. I thought the round trip was at least 8 miles but it was 7.6 miles. It was humid enough this afternoon that I could have believed it was 10 plus, so don't tell me if you think I actually ran less. That maybe the extent of my running this week since I will have to miss Saturday. It really was enjoyable, but I missed having the Marathon Momentum, which certainly helps move things along when we're all together.

Suzanne is traveling this week. Do you think she carries a card that says: "Have Garmin, Will Travel"???

See ya'll later.

Debra,
Enjoyed meeting you at Borders, too. I remember Owen from Cub Scout meetings. If you ever need someone to run with in the a.m., I meet Sally, Carol, and Jody at Lakeshore Park between 545a and 6am on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Come join us. We go down to Campfire Circle and back.

Deb,
I am in NC and running. I did 6 miles Tues, crossed trained yesterday and am runningthis afternoon. It is hot and hilly. We just drove the route I will run Saturday. Yuck! Hills and more hills. I am going to die but never fear I will make it. I will e-mail you once I am alive after the race! See ya! Suzanne

We missed you on Saturday and will miss you again this week. I would love to meet but unfortunately the camp I am working in requires me to leave my house at 5:30am. I am literally getting ready to run out the door right now.
Happy training this week and thanks for the good words!
